Generosity: fight piracy When game or movie publishers want to make an income and are afraid that people steal their product, they pay other companies to screw with their software so it becomes impossible to steal... or use for that matter. That is one bit mistake, and I know of a much better way.

Why is it a mistake?
Piracy is a big issue these days, and those who are on the short end fight it with all their might – and that usually comes in the form of paying certain companies a lot of money so that they can live up to their promise of making the product impossible to steal. They usually, if not always, try to do this with Digital Rights management – alGenerosity: fight piracy by ~PsyPing

Heyo, first of all Happy holidays brah.
Second, I started messing around on Ubuntu a couple of hours ago, trying to install a game, which I did after long frustrations. But the thing is, I can't run it. Whatever I try, doesn't matter how hard I look on google for answers, I just can't get it to work.
Ever since I installed an update on my computer, the game wouldn't launch afterwards, so I haven't played it in about year and half or so, so I figured I could get it to work on Ubuntu, which obviously failed. I need you T, I really need you right now.

What game exactly? If it's a Windows game, you'll need wine, for sure.
